Athletic Development
Athletes will train for strength, power, agility, speed, stability, mobility, and endurance. Matt’s philosophy is that athletes need to develop an athletic base before progressing to advanced training strategies
Athletes Should Train at Different Speeds and Forces
ASAP Training
During training, there is an emphasis on speed of movement because you need to train at high speeds to play at fast/quick speeds on the field or court.

Types of Training
ASAP Training
Matt will incorporate medicine balls, stability balls, weight training (free weights), including Olympic lifts, plyometrics, form-running drills, resistance and overspeed training, cone and hurdle drills, agility ladders, and whatever else it takes to maximize one’s performance.
Injury Prevention
ASAP Training
Injury prevention is a huge component of sports performance training. Athletes should be able to control their body in all planes of motion. The key is to have motion with stability at each joint. Specific exercises will be implemented to decrease the risk of athletic injuries.
